Cristela Alonzo is a comedian originally from the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas and currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. Cristela has appeared on "Conan," Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham" and "Gabriel Iglesias Presents Stand-Up Revolution." She was also a featured comedian on Showtime's "Legally Brown."
Cristela has written for Comedy Central and has won numerous awards for her short films, including Best Film at the Boston Comedy Festival and recently made her acting debut on FX's "Sons of Anarchy."
Last year Cristela was the most requested performer at the National Association of Campus Activities where she was booked to perform at over 100 colleges and universities across the country, bringing the total number of colleges at over 200 that she's performed at in the past three years.
Cristela most recently received a development deal from 20th Century Fox to develop her own half-hour sitcom based on her life and is currently on tour across the country.
