About the Show | Strangers with Candy | Comedy Central
Strangers With Candy twists the conventions of the After-School Special to create a completely original comedy series. Follow the misadventures of Jerri Blank (Amy Sedaris), a 46-year-old high school dropout and self-described "boozer, user and loser" who has spent the last 32 years in and out of prison. Now she's back in high school, facing classic high school dilemmas. But Jerri's old habits, along with the misguided advice of her self-centered teachers (Stephen Colbert, Paul Dinello), cause her to resolve each crisis by learning the wrong lesson. Just like in your high school!
