Brigitte Nielsen
Actress, model, presenter, and singer Brigitte Nielsen was born Gitte Nielsen in Rĝdovre, Denmark, on July 15, 1963. In 1979 she moved to France and then Italy, where she began her modeling career. She worked for top fashion designers like Giorgio Armani, Gianni Versace, and Gianfranco Ferré and divided her time between New York, Paris, Milan, and Berlin.
In 1984 Italian producer Dino De Laurentiis hired her for the lead in Red Sonja (1985) starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. She went on to star in Rocky IV (1985) and Cobra (1986) with Sylvester Stallone, as well as Beverly Hills Cop II (1987). In 1987 she recorded the dance album "Every Body Tells A Story" and single "Body Next To Body" with German singer Falco.
She continues to act in films such as Chained Heat II (1993), Galaxis (1995) with Sam Raimi, Compelling Evidence (1995), Codename: Silencer (1995), Snowboard Academy (1996), Hostile Environment (1998), She's Too Tall (1998) with Corey Feldman and George Hamilton, and Doomsdayer (2000).
In 2004 she participated in the reality shows "The Surreal Life" (2003) and "Strange Love" (2005), as well as the Italian "La Talpa" (Celebrity Mole).
She has four children and currently lives in Milan, Italy and the United States.
