Futurama Meet the Cast
Futurama
If you absolutely, positively need something delivered in the universe, get somebody else. Otherwise, call the crew of the Planet Express. It's owned and operated by the batty Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth, manned by a motley gang. Just be prepared for detours including mutinies, extraterrestrial encounters and invaders hell-bent on New New York's destruction.
Phillip J. Fry
Your prototypical late 20th century slacker-slob, Fry tries to make the most out of assimilating into 31st century culture. A pizza deliveryman in his "past life," he finds himself working for his distant nephew's Planet Express courier service.
Leela
Captain of the Planet Express spaceship, the one-eyed Turanga Leela's past is shrouded in mystery. She's a first-rate pilot and martial artist (special move: flying leg kick), though her personal life could use a major boost.
Professor Farnsworth
Constantly befuddled research scientist and distant nephew of Fry's. Funds his never-ending array of experiments and inventions with the Planet Express Delivery Company.
Bender
A foul-mouthed booze-swilling kleptomaniac, this robot will do anything for personal profit or inorganic nookie. Officially the Planet Express ship's cook, his original function was bending bars for construction work. Best friends with "meatbag" Fry.
Dr. Zoidberg
The Planet Express' doctor hails from the lobster-like race of aliens of Decapod 10. Dangerously ignorant of human anatomy and behavior. Also prone to passing himself off as wealthy and full of male jelly.
Hermes
Bean counter for the Planet Express company and bureaucrat extraordinaire. Files, stamps and shreds documents like nobody else in New New York.
