NEW YORK, January 4, 2010 – Do you wear socks with your sandals or text while you drive? Does Denis Leary have a song for you - "Douchebag!" The single, remix and music video from Denis Leary and his band, the Enablers, featuring the Rehab Horns, will be released on COMEDY CENTRAL Records digitally on January 11.

Prior releases on COMEDY CENTRAL Records include Leary's digital singles "FU," where Leary expressed his true feelings and "At the Rehab," in which he calls out pop culture icons by name along with their rampant substance abuse to an up-tempo calypso beat.

"Denis Leary and Friends Present Douchebags and Donuts" World Premiere, an original COMEDY CENTRAL one-hour stand-up special, debuts on Sunday, January 16 at 10:00 p.m.

Denis Leary, the notorious Emmy©-nominated star of "Rescue Me" and New York Times best-selling author, returns to his stand-up roots with this provocative one-hour special taped live at NYC's Town Hall. Along with COMEDY CENTRAL rising star and roaster Whitney Cummings, and his "Rescue Me" costars Lenny Clarke and Adam Ferrara, Leary dispenses a blistering one-two punch to douchebags everywhere and delivers the comedy event of the new year.

Leading up to the on-air premiere, Jokes.com will feature preview clips from the special, as well as an exclusive music video.

On Tuesday, January 18, "Denis Leary and Friends Present Douchebags and Donuts" stand-up special will be released nationwide on DVD by COMEDY CENTRAL Home Entertainment and Paramount Home Entertainment©. The DVD, released extended and uncensored, contains over 50 minutes not included in broadcast and features bonus materials "Detours on the Road to Comedy," "Snapshots from the Road" and additional musical performances by the Enablers featuring the Rehab Horns. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the DVD will benefit The Leary Firefighters Foundation.

"Denis Leary and Friends Present Douchebags and Donuts" stand-up special is produced by Denis Leary and Jim Serpico's New York-based Apostle. Jonas Larsen and Elizabeth Porter are the executives in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL.

Denis Leary is 0 for 5 at the Emmys© and 0 for 2 at the Golden Globes© for his work on the hit FX television series "Rescue Me." He looks forward one day to not winning an Oscar. His book, Why We Suck: A Feel Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid, made the New York Times Best-Seller List. Leary and his band the Enablers embarked on the "Rescue Me Comedy Tour" in 2009 – a multi-city tour including Radio City Music Hall and the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles. Leary also toured in 1997, coming off a stretch that produced the lauded HBO special, "Lock 'N Load." Prior to that, he performed his smash hit one-man show, "No Cure For Cancer," which became one of the highest grossing comedy albums of all time. In 2006 he was given an Honorary Doctorate in the Fine Arts from his alma mater, Emerson College.
