COMEDY CENTRAL IS PLAYING WITH BALLS
IN THE NETWORK TELEVISION PREMIERE OF “BALLS OF FURY”
DEBUTING SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 6 AT 9:00 P.M.
NEW YORK, January 11, 2010 – COMEDY CENTRAL is taking up a new sport – ping-pong! That counts as a sport, right? Either way, viewers should stretch, drink a protein shake and tune in to the Network Television Premiere of “Balls of Fury,” debuting Saturday, February 6 at 9:00 p.m.
Written by "RENO 911!'s" Thomas Lennon and Ben Garant, and starring Christopher Walken and Dan Folger, “Balls of Fury” is a big comedy about tiny balls. When ex-Table Tennis champ Randy Daytona (Folger) is recruited by the FBI to take down notorious gangster Feng (Walken), the quest nearly costs him his life. Only an extreme ping-pong match against Feng himself will save Randy and give him his revenge. Other comedy stars in the movie include George Lopez, Patton Oswalt, Aisha Tyler and David Koechner.
An encore presentation of "Balls of Fury" airs Sunday, February 7 at 3:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.
