COMEDY CENTRAL® RECORDS RELEASES
"HARLAND WILLIAMS: HAR-LARIOUS" CD
HITTING STORES TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 22
NEW YORK, November 14, 2005 - Harland Williams holds nothing back when it comes to stand-up. He's not afraid to give the audience a peek into his world of crookedness whether it's restaurants, Al Qaeda, tattoos or eating, anything is fair game for Williams. Released via COMEDY CENTRAL Records, "Harland Williams: Har-Larious" CD will be available in stores nationwide and at http://shop.comedycentral.com on Tuesday, November 22.
"Harland Williams: Har-Larious" CD contains over 50 minutes of his best material. Listeners will be treated to Williams' wacky insight on body enhancement, his life in bed and what it means to have a sense of humor.
Harland Williams has become a chameleon in Hollywood, starring in various films such as "Dumb and Dumber" as the pee-drinking police officer and "Something About Mary" as a hitchhiking serial killer. His roles have also included the endearing, horse-killing stoner, Kenny, in "Half-Baked," a goofball astronaut in "Rocketman" and the ugliest red-head imaginable in "Sorority Girls." Some of Williams'other film appearances include "The Whole Nine Yards," "Freddy Got Fingered," Disney's "Mister Headmistress" and E! Television's "Becoming Dick." Audiences can look forward to Williams in upcoming movies such as "Because of Winn Dixie," and "Robots."
Williams' success is hardly limited to film. He makes regular appearances on highly-rated shows such as "Late Night with David Letterman," "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," and "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." This versatile actor has done solo stand-up comedy specials for COMEDY CENTRAL, HBO, CTV and CBC. He hosted his own sitcom, "Simon," for the WB, as well and held aco-starring role on the "Geena Davis Show." Williams has supplied voices on several other animated shows. In addition to these accomplishments, Williams has written and illustrated his own series of children's books about a little brontosaurus named Lickety Split and is currently producing three new books for Penguin Publishing. Fans can look forward to Williams pairing up with his cousin Kevin Hearn of Barenaked Ladies to create their first EP, "Cousins: The Lovesong Years."
