"South Park" Will Premiere 16 New Episodes In 2005
NEW YORK, February 22, 2005 -- Find out what the ninth season holds in store for everyone's favorite foul-mouthed fourth graders when "South Park" returns with all-new episodes beginning Wednesday, March 9 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.
Last season, Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman took on everything from aliens and steroids to Mel Gibson and Paris Hilton. In the ninth season, one of the citizens of South Park undergoes a sex change operation, Butters sees dead people and Cartman takes on his lifelong enemies...hippies!
Launched in 1997, "South Park" remains the highest-rated series on COMEDY CENTRAL. The series repeats Fridays at 12:00 a.m., Saturdays at 3:00 a.m. and Sundays at 11:00 p.m.
Trey Parker and Matt Stone are co-creators and executive producers of the Emmy-nominated "South Park," with Anne Garefino also serving as executive producer.
