NEW YORK, February 7, 2005 -- For all of those diehard stand-up fans, "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents" is back for a ninth season. The new season kicks off with the lovable comedian, Godfrey. He talks about the effects of eating too much curry when "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents Godfrey" premieres Friday, February 18 at 10:00 p.m.
In Godfrey's own words, he discusses and explores the fine arts of catching the subway and programming answering machines in this all-new stand-up special.
Once again, COMEDY CENTRAL is taking the "Friday Night Stand-Up Block" to the next level with some of the funniest and most outrageous comedians performing their own original "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents" specials at 10:00 p.m.

"COMEDY CENTRAL Presents" provides one of the few remaining showcases for top stand-up talent. The show features today's hottest comics performing a half-hour of stand-up with a special set designed to reflect each comedian's material and personality. "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents" is produced by RickMill Productions.
Paul Miller and Kimber Rickabaugh from RickMill Productions will serve as executive producers of this season's episodes of "COMEDY CENTRAL Presents." Miller will also serve as the director. The programming executive for COMEDY CENTRAL is Lou Wallach.
