NEW YORK, May 24, 2004 -- There oughta be a law! COMEDY CENTRAL is back on the beat with the second season of "RENO 911!," the half-hour unscripted comedy created by and starring Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney and Thomas Lennon as cops patrolling Reno, Nevada. The 14-episode second season of "RENO 911!" premieres Wednesday, June 9 at 10:30 p.m. and is a Jersey Television production in association with COMEDY CENTRAL.

"RENO 911!" repeats Wednesdays at 12:30 a.m., Saturday at 9:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., Sunday at 1:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. and Monday at 10:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m.

The season premiere features the conclusion to last season's cliffhanger episode and answers the question as to which officers took a bullet on Halloween night in Reno and why. Also in this episode, Lt. Dangle (Lennon) is promoted to brass in Carson City. Before he leaves for his new position in the big city, he has to say his goodbyes to his fellow officers and settle a few scores.

In upcoming episodes, the Annual Policeman's Ball is threatened by the local firemen's Pancake Dinner, Deputy Johnson (Wendi McLendon-Covey) hooks up with a fellow officer, Officer Junior's (Garant) life is turned upside down by his accidental marriage and Officer Wiegel's (Kenney) new boyfriend may turn out be the Truckee River Killer. The second season includes guest appearances by Traci Bingham, Wayne Brady, Donna D'Errico, Lou Ferrigno, Dick Gregory, Toby Huss, Lorenzo Lamas, Martin Mull, Phil Lamarr, Patton Oswalt, Brian Phelps, Kenny Rodgers, Mindy Sterling, Chris Williams, Gary Anthony Williams and Sean Young.

"RENO 911!" gives viewers the chance to witness the men and women of the Reno County Sheriff's department at work and at play, offering a hilarious and unexpected spoof of the traditional cop reality program. The ensemble cast features "Viva Variety" and "The State" alumni Robert Ben Garant (Officer Travis Junior), Kerri Kenney (Deputy Trudy Wiegel) and Thomas Lennon as the short-shorted Lt. Jim Dangle. Also on the "RENO 911!" squad are Cedric Yarbrough (Deputy S. Jones), Niecy Nash (Deputy Raineesha Williams), Carlos Alazraqui (Deputy James Garcia) and Wendi McLendon-Covey (Deputy Clementine Johnson).

On Monday, May 17, users can log on to the "RENO 911!" website at www.comedycentral.com/tv_shows/reno911 to play the new "Petty Theft Bicycle Game." The game will allow users to steal Lt. Dangle's bicycle and it's up to the "RENO 911!" force to stop the bicycle with their police cars before it crosses the county line. The user must avoid the cars and other obstacles built into the game while racing against time. Actual audio from the show will be included. In addition to the game, users can view an exclusive behind-the-scenes photo gallery from the second season, download a screensaver and read the new weekly newsletter written by the show's creators for each episode. The newsletter will be written from the perspective of one of the characters and it will be their reaction.
