Set in a small town nestled in the Colorado Rockies, COMEDY CENTRAL's award winning, critically acclaimed, animated series, "South Park," is breathtakingly irreverent and ruthlessly funny. Created by Parker and Stone, the adult-oriented series features the misadventures of four eight-year old boys whose everyday lives regularly intersect with world events and include elements of the paranormal, the mythic and the divine. South Park is also home to the musically gifted school "Chef," voiced by Isaac Hayes.
Launched in 1997, "South Park" is based on the animated short entitled, "The Spirit of Christmas." The series remains the highest-rated on COMEDY CENTRAL. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are co-creators and executive producers of the Emmy-nominated "South Park," with Anne Garefino also serving as executive producer.
