THE OFFICE OF HOMELAND SECURITY VISITS RENO IN A SPECIAL TWO PART EPISODE OF
COMEDY CENTRAL'S® "RENO 911!" WITH GUEST STAR CHERYL HINES

NEW YORK, September 29, 2003 -- When Officer Dangle receives a letter filled with a mysterious white powder, it can only mean one thing the Office of Homeland Security is in town. The terrorist training force descends on the Reno Sheriff's Department to teach the squad proper protocol in case of terrorist attack in a special two part episode of "RENO 911!" Part one airs on Wednesday, October 8 at 10:30 p.m. and part two airs on Wednesday, October 15 at 10:30 p.m.

Actress Cheryl Hines ("Curb Your Enthusiasm") makes a guest appearance as a trailer park resident with a trespassing complaint who gets herself arrested and the entire squad falls in love with their terrorist trainers who are not all they appear to be.

"RENO 911!" currently airs on Wednesday at 10:30 p.m. with encore presentations on Wednesday at 12:30 a.m., Friday at 12:30 a.m., Saturday at 9:00 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 11:30 p.m. and midnight, Sunday at noon and 12:30 p.m. and Monday at 10:00 p.m., 10:30 p.m., midnight at 12:30 a.m.

"RENO 911!" is created by and stars Robert Ben Garant, Kerri Kenney and Thomas Lennon as cops patrolling Reno, Nevada. The series is a Jersey Television production in association with COMEDY CENTRAL. This hilarious take on the traditional cop drama is a character-driven comedy with soap opera-like twists and turns.
