"SOUTH PARK" RETURNS WITH A VENGEANCE IN FIVE ALL-NEW EPISODES

NEW YORK, June 10, 2002 -- Find out what everyone's favorite foul-mouthed fourth graders are up to this time when "South Park"'s sixth season continues with five all-new episodes, beginning Wednesday, June 26 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.New episodes have the boys embarking on a civil service campaign entitled "Save Hollywood Films From Their Directors." "South Park" also throws the spotlight on the Catholic Church and its clergy's affinity for young boys. And in a completely unrelated episode, Cartman tests unbelievable scientific theories involving his ass. As if that weren't more than enough for one small town, Professor Chaos continues to scheme with General Disarray to wreak havoc upon the world.

Launched in 1997, "South Park" remains the highest-rated series on COMEDY CENTRAL. "South Park" repeats Fridays at 12:00 a.m., Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. and 2:00 a.m., and Sundays at 11:00 p.m.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are co-creators and executive producers of the Emmy-nominated "South Park," with Anne Garefino as executive producer.
