"SOUTH PARK" KICKS OFF ITS SIXTH SEASON WITH SIX NEW EPISODES
BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 AT 10:00 P.M.* ON COMEDY CENTRAL®


NEW YORK, February 26, 2002 -- People with weird deformities, sluts who do drugs, kids who try to kill their grandmothers, 21 baby calves and AIDS -- all this and more in a brand new season of "South Park," beginning Wednesday, March 6 at 10:00 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.

Storylines slated for the sixth season include:
•In an effort to win big prizes, the boys sign Butters up as one of the freaks on the "Maury Povich Show."
•The boys find out the secret behind a popular celebrity's weight loss is that the company who sponsored him gave him AIDS.
•Will the boys become vegetarians? They hide 21 baby calves who are about to become veal steaks in Stan's bedroom, and Cartman faces off against the authorities' greatest negotiator.

Launched in 1997, "South Park" remains the highest-rated series on COMEDY CENTRAL. "South Park" repeats Fridays at 12:00 a.m., Saturdays at 10:30 p.m. and 2:00 a.m., and Sundays at 11:00 p.m.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are co-creators and executive producers of the Emmy-nominated "South Park," with Anne Garefino as executive producer and Debbie Liebling as the executive producer for COMEDY CENTRAL.
