SVP, Event Production, Talent Development and Studio Relations - Viacom Entertainment Group
Tim Bruno is Senior Vice President, Event Production, Talent Development & Studio Relations for Viacom Entertainment Group. He reports to Casey Patterson, Executive Vice President, Event Production, Talent Development & Studio Relations, Viacom Entertainment Group.
Bruno is the Executive in Charge of Production across all of the Entertainment’s Group’s tent pole events, which include Spike TV's “Video Game Awards,” “Guy’s Choice Awards” and “Scream Awards,” COMEDY CENTRAL's “The Comedy Awards” and TV Land's the “TV Land Awards,” as well as the AFI Live Achievement Awards telecast. Bruno also plays an integral role in overseeing the talent development and motion picture studio relations for the three networks within the Group.
Bruno served as Vice President Event Production, Talent and Studio Relations since 2005. Prior to joining the Viacom Entertainment Group, Bruno was an Emmy Award®-winning Producer and 13-year veteran of NBC. He was Supervising Producer for NBC News’ “Today,” from 2002-2005, where he oversaw all entertainment aspects for the morning show and was responsible for all celebrity, film, television, theatre and music programming, including the “Toyota Concert Series on Today.”
During his tenure at NBC, Bruno held a number of positions, including Booking Producer for NBC News’ “Dateline NBC,” and “Now with Tom Brokaw and Katie Couric.” He began his television career at NBC in 1991 as a page in the New York Guest Relations Department.
Bruno graduated from Indiana University and resides in New York City and Callicoon, NY with his partner Lee Hartwell.
