Vice President, Ad Sales Research – COMEDY CENTRAL, Spike TV, MTV2, Viacom Entertainment Group
Sharon Alvarado, Vice President, Ad Sales Research for COMEDY CENTRAL, Spike TV and MTV2, Viacom Entertainment Group, reports to Beth Coleman, Senior Vice President of Ad Sales Research for the Viacom Entertainment Group. Alvarado is based in Viacom’s New York City offices and was formerly Senior Director of Ad Sales Research for COMEDY CENTRAL and Spike TV.
Alvarado oversees COMEDY CENTRAL, Spike TV and MTV2’s Ad Sales Research team and supervises all aspects of research for Ad Sales efforts and pricing and inventory functions. This includes the development of audience estimates, measurement and analytics leveraging both COMEDY CENTRAL, Spike and MTV2’s consumer assets.
Alvarado has been with Viacom for over 14 years where she started as an intern for VH1 Ad Sales in 1991, joining VH1 Research in 1996. In between her stints at Viacom, she served as Director of Ad Sales Research at E! Entertainment Television for both the E! and Style networks.
Alvarado holds a BS degree in Communications from St. John’s University.
