Leo Allen is a comedian, writer and actor living in Queens, which is part of New York City. As a comedian, his television appearances include two "Comedy Central Presents" half-hour specials, "Late Night with Conan O’Brien," "Last Call with Carson Daly," NBC’s "Late Friday," and COMEDY CENTRAL’s "Comedians of Comedy." He also hosts the weekly "Whiplash!" stand-up show, which welcomes the world’s greatest comedians to the UCB New York stage.
Allen was a writer for "Saturday Night Live" for three seasons, a contributor to the second season of MTV’s "Human Giant," co-head writer on Robert Smigel’s live autism benefit "A Night of Too Many Stars" for COMEDY CENTRAL. He was also co-creator for COMEDY CENTRAL’s "Important Things with Demetri Martin." Allen wrote and starred in a half-hour of sketches for HBO’s "Funny Or Die Presents" and appeared in the films "Just Wright" and "It’s Kind of a Funny Story."
Allen will appear in "Jon Benjamin Has A Van" premiering on Wednesday, June 15 at 10:30 p.m. on COMEDY CENTRAL.
