Director, “Workaholics”
Respected for his diversity as a director, editor, producer, and writer, Kyle Newacheck displays his true passion as director of the hit COMEDY CENTRAL show “Workaholics,” on which he also appears as Karl Hevacheck. The show ended its summer season with an average of 2 million viewers per show, establishing itself as the highest rated series in its timeslot across all of television among Men 18-24 and Men 18-34.
Originally from Northern California, Newacheck graduated from the Los Angeles Film School with a degree in editing. His multifaceted talents opened many avenues, but his desire for comedy prevailed.
Newacheck currently directs, edits, and produces all of Mail Order Comedy’s material, including “Workaholics.” He has also directed an episode of NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” as well as an episode of “Community.” Most recently, he directed the music video for Childish Gambino’s “Heartbeat,” which received an MTV Video Music Award nomination for best hip-hop video.
