Vice President, Studio Relations and Production
As vice president of studio relations and production for COMEDY CENTRAL, Eric Blume develops and produces promotional programming for upcoming theatrical releases and acts as executive in charge of production for COMEDY CENTRAL's behind-the-scenes theatrical movie franchise, "REEL COMEDY," as well as for short-form promotional interests. Blume is based in New York.
Blume joined COMEDY CENTRAL in 1997. Prior to that, he was a professional actor with various regional theatres and a film critic for SRO Magazine, an arts magazine in Pittsburgh, PA. He holds BAs in English and in Film Theory from Pennsylvania State University where he graduated as valedictorian of the School of Communications. He also earned an MA in Theatre from Emerson College.
Blume speaks French, travels extensively, sees a lot of movies and theater, and hikes into the middle of nowhere whenever possible.
