Vice President, Brand Marketing
Deena Stern is vice president, brand marketing for COMEDY CENTRAL, reporting to Peter Risafi, senior vice president, brand marketing/executive creative director.
In her role, Stern oversees all brand marketing initiatives for COMEDY CENTRAL, including consumer and trade advertising, digital marketing, ancillary business marketing and COMEDY CENTRAL events. Stern will also work with the Content Distribution and Partner Marketing Group to support their programs and ensure COMEDY CENTRAL's programming priorities are highly visible across all distribution platforms.
Prior to joining COMEDY CENTRAL, Stern spent 10 years at USA Network, most recently as senior director, brand marketing strategy. In that post, she oversaw the strategic development, media planning, consumer promotions and creative development for the network's major initiatives including the Emmy®-nominated "The Starter Wife," "Monk," "Psych," "Burn Notice" and "The 4400." Stern was also instrumental in launching the USA Network's Characters Welcome brand campaign.
Before her tenure at USA Network, Stern held an account management position at Grey Entertainment. Stern holds a BA in American Studies from Brandeis University.
