Star and Executive Producer, "The Ben Show with Ben Hoffman"
Writer/Comedian Ben Hoffman is the creator and host of “The Ben Show with Ben Hoffman.” Prior to “The Ben Show,” Hoffman starred in “InfoMania,” a weekly satirical news show on Current TV. He also guest starred on the Golden Globe nominated FOX comedy, "New Girl" and the critically acclaimed series, “Arrested Development.” As a writer, Hoffman has contributed to high profile specials such as the "Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne” and “The MTV Movie Awards.” He also co-wrote the Comedy Central sports series “Sports Show with Norm Macdonald,” in which he also co-starred. In 2012, Hoffman pranked the twittersphere by live-tweeting from home that he was at President Obama’s exclusive fundraising dinner at George Clooney’s residence.
Hoffman grew up in Lexington, Kentucky idolizing comedy legends such as Woody Allen and Albert Brooks and was consistently grounded for staying up to watch episodes of The Late Show with David Letterman. He is a loyal University of Kentucky basketball fan, along with his brother, Babydaddy (aka Scott Hoffman) of the American pop rock band Scissor Sisters. Hoffman and his brother also collaborated to create the music for The Ben Show.
