Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs - East Coast
Arian Sultan Rothman is Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, East Coast, reporting to Melissa Bear, Senior Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs, East Coast. Rothman, who joined COMEDY CENTRAL in 2006, is based in New York and was formerly Senior Director of the department.
Rothman serves as the main business and legal affairs executive on most east coast- based productions and tent pole events, including "The Colbert Report," "Ugly Americans" and "Night of Too Many Stars" and works with the DVD group on their distribution deals with talent. She also oversees "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" and structures deals for development projects.
Rothman came to COMEDY CENTRAL from NBC Universal where she was Production Counsel for the Bravo Channel from 2004-2006 and, prior to that, an intellectual property associate at NBC.
She holds a BA degree from Cornell University and a JD from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law.
