Aileen Budow
Vice President, Digital Media and Events Corporate Communications - MTV Networks Entertainment Group

Aileen Budow is vice president, digital media and events corporate communications, MTVN Entertainment Group, which is comprised of a multi-platform portfolio of brands featuring the COMEDY CENTRAL, Spike TV and TV Land cable channels as well as internet sites Atom.com and GameTrailers.com. She is based in New York and reports to Tony Fox, executive vice president, corporate communications, MTVN Entertainment Group.

Budow leads the MTVN Entertainment Group's efforts to develop strategies, publicizing COMEDY CENTRAL and Spike's expansion into the digital space, including the internet, wireless and broadband areas, as well as working with the digital properties Atom and GameTrailers. Budow will also be responsible for communicating the integration efforts between the MTVN Entertainment Group's linear channels and digital assets. She also spearheads publicity efforts in support of both on-air and off-air events including red carpet activities, gossip, photo and people item placements.

Additionally, Budow oversees the publicity efforts for the Entertainment Group's marketing and sales promotions activities within the advertising and marketing trade publications as well as the consumer business press.

Budow joined COMEDY CENTRAL in 2000 from Metrochannels where she was New York director of communications. Prior to that she was manager, public relations at TBS Superstation for Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. from 1996 to 1999, a job she held after a stint as senior account executive for Dan Klores Communications, the well-known Manhattan public relations firm, from 1993 to 1996.

Budow holds a bachelor's degree in Marketing from George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
