It seems that gay men throughout the entertainment industry have made a common practice of honoring their favorite female musical artists through the art of impersonation and lip synch, and they call this cabaret. Here's the problem, though. When gay men do this, it's cool, it's fine, it's fantastic -- it's accepted. But when straight men, like Randy and myself, try to do the same thing, it's just gay.
