Chelsea Peretti grew up in sunny and temperate Oakland, CA. She performs stand-up all over now in her New York base, and creates monthly short films with the Variety Shac, which can be viewed online at VarietyShac.com.

"C," as no one calls her, is also co-creator of web satire BlackPeopleLoveUs.com and the New York City Rejection Line (212-479-7990). Both projects received international media coverage and were exhibited at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York.

She highlighted all this and more at the 2006 HBO Aspen Comedy Festival ("Off the Web"). Chelsea's comedy has been featured on Comedy Central, VH1, ESPN, AMC, and FUSE.
