Q: What's the first joke you ever wrote?
A: People in New England call me a "transplant" because I moved here from Texas. As if I was life-flighted up here in a little red cooler.

Q: What is the source of your sense of humor?
A: The world around me.

Q: In school, were you the class clown or quiet nerd?
A: Quiet nerd.

Q: Is it better to be feared or loved on your way up the comedy ladder?
A: Loved?

Q: Your stardom: a karmic inevitability or old fashioned luck?
A: Karmic Inevitability! My mom bought me one of those personalized mugs from a souvenir shop in Hollywood when I was 6 years old. It says "Maggie, A Star Is Born". If that's not Karma, I don't know what is.
