Q: What's the first joke you ever wrote?
A: It was about working at a Bar B Que restaurant and how my boss hated everyone who wasn't a stripper.
Q: What is the source of your sense of humor?
A: Being the second oldest of five. It was probably more of a "will to survive" than a "sense of humor". Being raised by a single mother can require a quirky outlook on life.
Q: In school, were you the class clown or the quiet nerd?
A: I was a bit of both. I was the quiet nerd until 8th grade and then I started to become more comfortable with myself when I started getting pretty out there with theatre. So, I guess you could say I was a quiet clown.
Q: Is it better to be feared or loved on your way up the comedy ladder?
A: I don't see anyone fearing a girl that is 5'3 and 93 pounds soaking wet. But, if it came down to it I'd rather be respected than loved or feared.
Q: Your stardom: a karmic inevitability or old fashioned luck?
A: I would say old fashioned luck. But, I did feed a lot of homeless people when I was younger and did community service. A little bit of both?
