Q: What's the first joke you ever wrote?
A: I was 6 years old and approached my parents with this:
Me: Why did the monkey cross the road?
Them: Why?
Me: Because the chicken was dead.

Q: What is the source of your sense of humor?
A: My grandfather use to dress up like Charlie Chaplin and entertain. He always had a joke to tell and a smile on his face. I think I've become some version of that.

Q: In school, were you the class clown or quiet nerd?
A: 1999 J.M. Hanks High Class Clown. But, I should mention that I share the title with Charity Miller who I recently reconnected with on facebook.

Q: Is it better to be feared or loved on your way up the comedy ladder?
A: Loved or feared...uh, loved? No, no FEAR me! Actually, I think ignored would be great.
