W. Kamau Bell hates whitey. But don't be nervous, Whitey. Kamau hates you in hilarious ways that lead to much laughter and applause... only, mostly at your expense. Kamau started doing comedy at The Second City Conservatory in Chicago. While there he rediscovered his childhood love for hating whitey. His mom had tried to get him to hate whitey all of his life but it never took until after college. And by after, we mean after Kamau dropped out of college, The University of Pennsylvania. Kamau moved to San Francisco to pursue stand-up comedy and also to see if he hated the West Coast's version of whitey. And much to his delight he did! Since being in SF Kamau has hated on whitey so effectively that he was named an Artist on the Verge by The San Francisco Chronicle and he was a semi-finalist in both the Comedy Central Laugh Riots and SF International Comedy Competitions. Kamau also recently appeared in both the New Faces Show and Best of The Uptown Comics at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival. Kamau is excited to finally be apart of Premium Blend and the Comedy Central Family, even though he's pretty sure it's run by whitey.
