What happens when you dare to dream? Leo Allen is a New York City-based comedian, writer, actor, and filmmaker.

He has performed stand-up comedy on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, Last Call with Carson Daly, NBC's Late Friday's, Comedy Central, and many, many others it's best we agree not to talk about. He's toured the country with Janeane Garofalo, Demetri Martin, Eugene Mirman, Michael Showalter, and other friends.

As a comedic sketch writer, he worked for "Saturday Night Live" for three years, contributed to the second season of "Human Giant" on MTV, and wrote and produced on Robert Smigel's autism benefit – A Night of Too Many Stars.

He has appeared at The HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Bumbershoot, South by Southwest, The Chicago Comedy Festival, San Francisco Sketchfest, and many others.

He also often works with Eric Slovin – together they comprise the comedy team "Slovin & Allen". They performed their own Comedy Central Presents 1/2 hour special, made a pilot co-starring Eva Longoria, written several films, and most recently co-wrote, and co-executive produced the television show "Important Things with Demetri Martin" which was picked up by Comedy Central for six episodes.
