NBC went on that year to recognize Jackson as a finalist in their "Stand-Up for Diversity" contest. Jackson has appeared in numerous competitions and festivals, having won "The Maxim Magazine Real Men of Comedy" contest, as well as reaching the finals of the Boston Comedy Festival. He went on to receive rave reviews for his 2006 performance at the HBO Las Vegas Comedy Festival and in 2009 appeared at the prestigious Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, Canada, where he was recognized as being one of the best of the festival in The Hollywood Reporter. Jackson headlines clubs across the country, where his brand of comedy has bookers and fans calling for his return time and time again.
